home education

Every  Wednesday  lots of  people  get  together and have all sorts of  fun.

Interview: Andrew  Fontana

Nienna: What do you think about homeschooling Andrew?
Andrew: I love it. I love spending as much time with my kids as possible, helping them learn and watching them improve and grow before my eyes.
Nienna: What have you been doing lately with homeschooling?
Andrew: This year we started with a month of Maths, both Beren and Nienna learned up to the end of their years' level in maths in that one month. After that we are now having a bit of a break with something a bit less intensive. They are both making a computer game with a program called RPG Maker.

home ed camp

                                                       by Nienna Ellen Schultz Fontana

For all the school kids and grown ups that don't know what home ed camp is.
Home ed camp is where lots of families get together and have fun.  As in toasting marshmallows, also doing bush dancing. The good thing  about camp is that it's not all about the kids, grown ups get to relax  and talk to other people too.

John and Anita made this lovely soup. It was a traditional Hungarian soup often cooked by shepherd in the fields.  John and Anita are from Hungary originally.
